Data scientist and leader of the Belgian Data Science community. Specialises in applied NLP and production AI systems — the technical mind behind Lexular's classifier-first architecture and Smart Silence logic.

Previously: eqipa
Before Lexular, Simon and Michael built eqipa — a predictive AI platform for football injury prevention. The product was built from scratch, deployed with professional clubs, and successfully transferred to a strategic partner.
Eqipa demonstrated the team's ability to take a complex, domain-specific AI problem — with high stakes and messy real-world data — from zero to production. Lexular applies the same philosophy to insurance customer support.
